What can I say about eBaY (from a sellers point of view) that has not already beeen said? There are some real bargains out there if you are a buyer (at least in the fields I'm interested in), but as a seller... I've sold on ebay for 10 years, and the time has come to finally give up. What a painful, fractured, disjointed, saddening experience it has been. You could not make it up - dozens, if not 50+ extreme incidents of friction. From the daily grind of such a clunky site, to insane seller policies, being defrauded by customers, to being asked to prove my sales of men's trainers were not being used to fund terrorism (yes really) and have a month's worth of work removed when I could not prove I was not a jihadi!!!!. The site is broken, everything about it is wrong from a sellers perspective. Buy from/via this company freely, never EVER use them to sell beyond one or two items.
