Rapyd

Transferred from Neat to Rapyd, Money Blocked, No Help from Customer Support

The behavior of the leaders of Rapyd regarding the previous Neat customers whom they bought and put in a difficult situation deserves one more 1-star review. Rapyd was formerly known as Neat and it was a brilliant FinTech offering quality financial services with human customer support, which is the reason why it grew... Neat was a lifesaver for many businesses in Hong Kong, as they helped them keep things running smoothly when it first opened. As a result, Neat received many positive reviews. Regrettably, the service founders chose to sell Neat to Rapyd, leaving several business owners in a dangerous position. My Neat account was transferred to the Rapyd platform… however, I am unable to withdraw my money in the way that I had wanted. Despite contacting the customer support of Rapyd, they cannot address my issue as they do not have access to my personal account information. I have sent several email reminders to Rapyd and Neat Customer Support, but they take days to respond with unhelpful and general replies. We had most of our capital in our Neat and then our Rapyd account, which made it difficult for us to access our funds to pay our personal expenses and providers. We were afraid that our company would go bankrupt because of the Rapyd's behavior. To resolve this, we urgently opened a new Neobank account with another fintech service (that wasn't on our plan) to safeguard our money, all without any useful help from Rapyd! It appears that Neat and Rapyd's customer support was not helpful and did not show concern towards our situation. It is concerning to think about how many others may have been affected in a negative way during these tough times. Just look at the other scary 1-star reviews they got here! After requesting the closure of our Rapyd account through their platform/interface, it remained active for several days. Although they mentioned a "human verification" process before closing the account. Now, we are no longer able to access our Rapyd account but we did not receive any confirmation via email or other means. It appears that the investors are primarily focused on acquiring the company for financial gain, rather than prioritizing the satisfaction of their newly acquired user base. I cannot think about the users who are still being debited the outrageous $99USD/month fee for no service, no support, and a non-working account, all this with a company they did not know before and never signed any agreement with. Being discreet in front of the Hong Kong court is advised since they may not react favorably to the Rapyd story due to Hong Kong's commitment to maintaining its reputation. The beginning of the Rapyd story does not present a clean image. I guess the newly-acquired Rapyd customers can be very well engaged by a website like "Rapyd Gate," where people can make a group complaint about this company in front of the Hong Kong jurisdiction.… for my part, I just want to forget Rapyd now and never be annoyed again by their members! Those who purchase a company and its customer database must take their responsibilities. May those responsible for all the damages be judged and made to pay for their behavior if they do not help their remaining users now, as these customers deserve to be helped after being bought out by Rapyd (without their consent).
