I purchased a new Aspexel G09 2-axis gimbal drone
I purchased a new Aspexel G09 2-axis gimbal wi-fi drone from a seller on eBay. I saved $40 vs buying the same drone on Amazon. I could not have been happier, paying $100 for a drone whose specs normally command a higher sell price. They sell it on their web site for $199. The drone appears high quality and works as advertised. In fact for the price I paid, I bought a second G09 figuring that I was at least getting $100 worth of batteries with the drone (two batteries) and would serve as a backup should I encounter any problems. I gained my first insight into the customer service provided by the company when I first contacted them via email. It took them 4 days to respond. I've had other occasions communicating with them and with every email sent, it always takes them 4 days to reply . . . until I came upon a problem I couldn't solve. The drone/app stopped confirming successful gyro calibration and without successful gyro calibration, the drone won't fly or will fly unpredictably. Upon hearing of the problem, Aspexel support told me to contact the ebay seller I purchased the drone from for support/warranty claims/product returns. Their position was they could not offer me warranty coverage because the ebay seller was not an approved Aspexel reseller. I read their product warranty and that in itself gave me enough reason to write this review. Their warranty page reads: What is the valid proof of Warranty The following proof of purchase documents are required when customers claim warranty from ASPEXEL： Products purchased from Aspexel: Please provide the sales inventory information or logistics information that clearly show the sales channel, product details, price, sales date; Products purchased from other channels: Valid purchase invoice, product information evidence confirmed by Aspexel service team. I furnished my complete eBay purchase documentation for both drones purchased. Well the "gotcha" is . . . "other channels" doesn't specify any resellers period! It became quickly apparent that if you didn't purchase directly from Aspexel, you were buying new Aspexel product free from any warranty or support!
