Excellent software, some misleading practices
My experience of Wondershare's MobileTrans software was excellent. It's easy to use and guides you through the process step-by-step. Really helpful when I needed to merge WhatsApp messages from two devices. Happy to recommend it. They lose a star, however, for some of their practices. Their website says TRY IT FREE. But after downloading and installing the application, there is no free trial. You need to pay for any functionality. Most people, like me, would happily pay for such useful software. There is no need to employ such tactics. The price is advertised as £17.99, but when you click to make the purchase, it emerges that this is the VAT exclusive price, and the total price is around £21.59. Since the vast majority of those purchasing this software will be individual consumers rather than VAT registered companies, the VAT inclusive price should be published upfront. An additional item (insurance, I think) is also automatically added to the basket, and you need to remove it to bring the price back down to where you would expect. As mentioned at the top, the software is good, and I expect it will be a lifesaver for many, but there is room for improvement in some of their business practices.
