Purple Carrot by far has exceeded my expectations!
What started out as a way to expand my knowledge base for vegetarian cooking, has turned into an exciting experience. Purple Carrot provides many meals that I would never think to make. They are surprisingly affordable, very delicious meals and the instructions are clear and make them very easy to make. I admit, when choosing my meals for the week, I am a bit skeptical, but after 3 months, there has not been a meal we have not enjoyed. My husband’s review is “yummy food!” After a busy day at work, the meals are fast, tasty and healthy. My one frustration is the vegetables. Lettuce, spinach, kale, asparagus, shredded cabbage, etc. These items arrive and a third have spoiled. If I do not use them same day they are only good for another day or two. May I suggest vacuum sealing these to retain as much freshness as possible. This will afford a few more days and I will avoid having to go to the store to repurchase the needed items. This is the reason for only 3 stars. If PC is able to figure out how to keep the fresh vegetables fresh, I will gladly give 5 stars. Thank you
