Extremely disappointed with my experience with Angi. The one star which is mandatory is too many. I hired a professional through their service specifically because I expected someone qualified, prepared, and capable of completing the job I was paying for. Instead, the person who showed up was unable to complete the installation and left me with the exact same problem I had before the appointment. What makes this especially frustrating is that customers use Angi because we’re supposed to be getting vetted professionals. If someone accepts a job, they should have the experience, tools, and knowledge necessary to actually perform it—or at minimum properly assess the job before wasting the customer’s time. I paid for a service, not for someone to show up, tell me why they couldn’t do it, and leave. Angi needs to do a much better job of verifying the qualifications of the professionals they send to customers. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Angi for ANY home projects. I expected professional service and a completed job. I received neither.
