Museum and Crypt of the Capuchin Friars and the Catacombe Di San Castillo
We very much enjoyed the tour which included the Museum and Crypt of the Capuchin Friars and the Catacombe Di San Castillo. The Museum was very informative and the Crypt a little creepy. It must take a special character of humans to build wall decorations made of human bones… From the Crypt we were taken by vans to the Catacombe. It was very impressive to see how these resting places for the dead were build several layers into the underground. The temperature in the Catacombe was also a nice refreshment from the summer heat. While we drove to and from the Catacombe our tour guide gave us more historical details of Rome via radio headsets when passing different historical buildings. Overall great tour. I would book with this company again.
