Loyal IBKR client has second thoughts
I have been a loyal customer of IBKR for over 15 years. Their platform, pricing and security have been great but yesterday I found myself locked out of my account. This occurred because I opened a IBKR financial advisor account and the people in tech disabled my trading ability in my original account which I did not ask for and they have been unable to either de-link the accounts of close the FA account in a timely manner. I have been pleading with bots, chat techs and three different 'live' people to resolve this but to no avail. I love IBKR but if you have a tech problem be prepared to be frustrated. I may have to just close the accounts and move on. Too bad really but I am an active trader and their support team is failing me.
