I saw spectacles advertised on a professional-looking advert on Facebook. I should have known better but was lured by the claims that their glasses could allow you to focus at all distances, near, far and in between. This is nothing more than fake advertising and false claims preying on vulnerable people who hope that a cheap pair of glasses can solve their failing sight issues. Don’t be fooled. They can’t. I paid for two pairs of these ‘marvellous’ glasses, thinking that even if they weren’t as good as claimed they would do as a ‘spare’ to grab if my prescription glasses weren’t available. Well don’t waste your money. What arrived after 2 weeks were two pairs of cheap, fragile plastic glasses each with a different focal lens. They look and feel like the sort of glasses that you would buy children to play with or come from a Christmas cracker. They DO NOT adjust to focus at different distances. They are cheap, nasty things that should not be sold. The advert is a con. No more than that. The glasses come from China, so the return process is a joke. Don’t waste your money. This is yet another Facebook scam fronted by AI altered images of believable happy customers.
