Good service overshadowed by disappointing customer care
My NJ service had been fine until my recent interaction with their representative, Laura, which was extremely disappointing. I requested an emergency visit for ants in my kitchen (covered under my plan). I was told there were no appointments that week and scheduled for the following week. On the day of the appointment, the technician never showed up and I received no communication. When I called, Laura said the tech had a family issue. I asked to be rescheduled later that same week due to the urgency, but Laura refused, saying they “would not be in the area.” When I expressed concern and mentioned possibly canceling, her response was simply, “Go ahead and cancel it.” A few days later, I saw an EcoShield technician servicing a nearby neighbor, contradicting what I was told. Issues happen, but Laura’s dismissive attitude, lack of effort to help, and inaccurate information turned this into a very negative experience.
