I painstakingly took my measurements for my custom-fit dress for my daughter's wedding, but it seems that only the width measurements were used. I am nearly 5' 10", and the dress was cut for a much shorter woman. The darts on the bustline landed 3" above my breast when they should have been below my breast and pointing up. The dress landed above the knee when it should have covered the knee with the top layer extending a little longer below the knee. When I messaged customer service, they took a week to reply. One of the things they told me was this: "For future orders, please specify your desired dress length in the "Order Note" section during checkout to better meet your preferences." If this was something that needed to be done in addition to providing all of my detailed length and width measurements, then that should have been included in the instructions for ordering a custom-fit dress. Customer service offered me a 10% discount on a future purchase, which is insulting. I have no dressy occasions coming up, and I certainly wouldn't order another dress from JJ's House after this experience. I would like a refund on my dress, or at least a significant partial refund.
