Freeconference is really free
Freeconference is really a free, unrestricted conferencing app. I am using it to tutor, and it does everything I need. The whiteboard is very helpful, but the best thing is that I don't have time restrictions. My classes tend to go over one hour with no problem. I don't schedule a time to start or to end. about 15 minutes before the class, I send an email with a link to the meeting. If the student clicks before the time scheduled, I start the class early. Normally, I have no problems with streaming, but when the student uses an iPad, the streaming is a little slow on their side. Else, everything is better than great.
