Ordered Scandinavian Solid Wood Vanity Unit The item was delivered with the expected delays as it was on the ''slow boat from China '' which was ok. On unwrapping the parcel I discovered one of the drawer fronts had scratches on it which I have sanded out and revarnished. The instructions made no sense so I contacted Litfad and they sent me a link to a video which only confused the issue as it now appeared I was missing a panel. Contacted Litfad again who assured me that the unit did not have the panel which was clearly shown in the instruction video and in their webpage photo. They sent me a third video of the cabinet assembly but it was not the unit I had bought and had different parts to it. When it came to assembling the unit with no coherent instructions I managed just, although there were several issues, the locking cams were made of an inferior material so you could not tighten them sufficiently to hold the joint together tightly as it chewed the recess out so I had to buy angle brackets to support all the joints. The screws were also of an inferior material and the screw head snapped off on several occasions so I redrilled all the pilot holes, and used screws from my stash. The brackets supplied to support the 'flying' shelf were inferior quality and you could bend the with one finger, So I bought some more! When I finally got the thing assembled it looked nothing like it's photo on the website the wooden panels are half as thick as they are portrayed and the edges of the end panels have burn marks from the saw binding when they were cut and they have not varnished the edges either, luckily I have some varnish that I bought to cover up the damage to the drawer fronts. I leave it up to you to decide if at £459.52 it was value for money, and if you are considering buying from these people DON'T you have been warned.
