Do NOT buy these
Do NOT buy these. I had high hopes for Hexclad. When we first ordered them on February 9, 2025, I read everything about them. I wanted to make sure I used them exactly as stated. On first use, after properly prepping and seasoning, they were fantastic! They were a dream to cook with, amazingly nonstick and so easy to clean! I love that they heat quickly, and I never have to cook above low to medium temp! By four months in, even with consistent re-seasoning, (with real oil— never spray) they started to be LESS amazingly non-stick and less easy to clean, with extra effort to clean without using anything abrasive. I NEVER use metal utensils, even though the original commercials preached that it was absolutely ok! By 8 months in, I stopped using the frying/saute pans for anything that might possibly stick. I had to but an electric griddle to cook anything with animal protein in it because my Hexclad would stick so badly. I hate using them. But I did still like the pots. They are sturdy and very heavy. 18 months after buying them, they have visible scratches and marring in them, even though I only use silicone utensils. So disappointed. I bought them because of the fabulous “lifetime guarantee,” which, at these prices, I expected to be like the Pampered Chef lifetime guarantee, which is basically if anything happens to the item that makes it not work like it used to, it’s replaced. No questions. The Hexclad guarantee does not cover anything they deem is “normal wear and tear” (I still haven’t been able to find a complete definition for that) or anything that can be remotely argued that is customer error. At more than double the cost of most pans, a shelf life of less than 18 months is absolutely ridiculous. *This review has been flagged as suspicious because I was a day late getting back to Hexclad with receipts, pictures and videos. Now I can’t contact them. I will add one more observation: Most of the 5 star reviews rave about the great customer service help. My question is this: If the PRODUCT is so amazing, why do so many people have to call customer service??
