Dead after 40 days
Dead after 40 days. Certified electrician confirmed internal hardware failure. Contact me immediately. ORDER number: M36615EU I am deeply disappointed to be writing this, but after spending over €2,000 on a premium robotic mower, my LUBA 3 completely died after just 40 days of use. Because standard troubleshooting yielded no results, my father—who is a university-degreed, certified professional electrician—thoroughly diagnosed the power delivery system using a digital wattmeter and multi-meter. Here are the undeniable technical facts of the failure: The Charger is NOT faulty: Verified via wattmeter. Power is flowing correctly, and the transformer/coils heat up as expected under normal idle load. The Charging Station is NOT faulty: Power is successfully routed through the base station directly to the terminal pins. The Failure: When the LUBA 3 docks, the robot's screen/lights blink and it states "Charging Started." However, the wattmeter shows zero additional current draw. The robot recognizes the dock, but its internal charging circuitry or BMS (Battery Management System) has completely failed and refuses to draw electricity. A €2,000+ machine should not become an expensive paperweight in under 6 weeks. Because this is a verified internal hardware defect and not user error, I expect Mammotion to bypass the standard automated ticket loops and reach out to me immediately with a replacement or repair solution. To make matters worse, Mammotion support is actively trying to gaslight me and delay the process. I have been feeding the support agent our definitive electrical findings in real-time. Despite this undeniable physical proof, I was just told that I have to "wait for the logs to be examined" before I can even invoke my warranty (which is valid until 2029!). Analyzing software logs for a dead circuit board that physically refuses to draw current is a joke. On top of that, the agent couldn't even get their own product facts straight, feeding me completely wrong information about what the blinking lights on the unit actually mean. I am not playing these bureaucratic games with a 40-day-old, €2,000+ machine. Stop hiding behind irrelevant log reviews and automated scripts to stall a clear hardware replacement. Process this warranty claim now. LUBA was not opened or altered with - the only thing used were measurement instruments.
