A great answer for working hands
A couple years back I was helping my son work on his car. I was not wearing gloves but I was wearing my wedding ring. Although we had the battery disconnected, one of the cables popped back into place right by my hand. My hand was between the battery and the cable and it blew a chuck of my wedding ring off and burned my finger all the way around. I did get my ring off but due to the damage inside of the ring and the scar on my finger I was unable to wear it anymore.
