Old version build plates
I love Bambu printers, I just got into the hobby a month ago, in this time, I now own 2 Bambu printers. And no, I am not interested in these printers as a business. The reason I gave 2 stars is because Bambu responded to my situation. The X2D recognizes the build plate that originally came with the printer, the additional plate I ordered due to the amount of printing that I do, the printer does not recognize the plate that I ordered from the Bambu Labs Store. Bambu said that it was an old version build plate. So I paid the regular price for an old version build plate. Why didn't Bambu just send me the latest version plate? Why wasn't it identified as an old version plate and offered at a discount? If making money on the old version plates was an issue, be transparent, list it on the Bambu store, and offer the plate at a discount until the older version plates are 'out of stock'. I asked Bambu, 'why don't they just send me a current version plate' but I received no response, they closed my ticket. The solution to the problem should not be to turn off the build plate recognition feature on the printer, I'm assuming it's a feature for a reason, now that feature is turned off for all build plates.
