Exceeded all our Expectations
Our experience in Morocco exceeded our expectations at every turn. The "manager" of our experience on the ground was our exceptional driver, Ryad, for the 13 days we were in country. He was knowledgeable, trustworthy and always flexible and willing to personalize our experience further. All of the tour guides really enriched our understanding and enjoyment of several destinations, including in Chefchouoan, Volubilis, Fez and Marrakech. And, of course, the food and accommodations contributed greatly to our overall satisfaction. We were able to experience a wide range of traditional Moroccan foods, in top restaurants as well as local favorites and in a chef's home. That was lots of fun. Each of our accommodations were very different from each other, but they were all beautiful and comfortable. We were blown away with the opulence of the riads in Fez and Marrakech, and our luxury tent camp in the Sahara was absolutely spectacular. The highlight of our time in the Sahara was definitely our sunset camel ride. I was a little worried it might be a cheesy touristy attraction, but it was a magical and unforgettable experience.
