Stressful and misleading
Shopping at BeautifulHalo is a stressful experience. The only reason that I have given them 2 stars instead of 1 star is because they are not complete scammers; they are honest people, they just don't know what they're doing. The main issue is that they list out-of-stock items. I keep telling them that they shouldn't do this and asking them to amend listings but instead of doing so, they offer a 5% discount on another item off their website. For example, Color Block Tribal Print Long Sleeve Pocket Casual Hoodie does NOT exist in the blue colour, despite the blue colour being the main image. On 26/10/2020, I was advised that it was out-of-stock in the blue colour. Initially, they said that it would be back in stock within 3-4 weeks. April 2021 and still not in stock. They changed their response to "sold out" and offered me a 5% discount on another item. September 2021 and it is still showing as "in stock" despite the blue not appearing as an option. Another example: Vintage Style Light Gray Geometric Print Colorblocked Chest Pocket Long Sleeve Slim Fit Hoodie. It showed as "in stock" when ordered. I placed my order. A week later, I was informed that it was out-of-stock. It took a further 2 weeks for them to remove the listing. Whenever I ask them to stop listing out-of-stock items, they offer me a 5% discount. Not helpful. In the end, I decided to cancel my entire order as I was finding the experience (expectations management) too stressful. They tried to sell me something else and I had to be firm on wanting to cancel. They do communicate promptly and provide refunds which is why I haven't given them 1 star. However, I use quite a few similar websites such as Shein, Soulmia etc. This website is by far the worst. It's a shame as they could attract a lot of repeat buyers if they made some improvements (negotiations, expectations management).
