Pixlr is not honoring with its lifetime AppSumo deal
A few years ago Pixlr had a lifetime deal on AppSumo. One of the terms of this deal was that all updates to the premium plan would be guaranteed for those who made the purchase, but I recently discovered that this wasn't true. At the end of last year Pixlr made an update and added several artificial intelligence tools, so the premium plan was updated with the new functions. Although the AppSumo offer guaranteed these updates, contrary to expectations, lifetime users were not included. The premium plan guarantees 1000 AI credits per month. In the first few months the credits were renewed as they should have been, but in the last 2 months the renewal has stopped. I contacted Pixlr support and they said they won't be able to fulfill their offer because of the AI costs. Not only are they not complying with the offer, but there's been no warning about it, meaning that lifetime buyers are being harmed and haven't even been warned. I've made dozens of purchases of lifetime offers and several tools have made updates with artificial intelligence, including much smaller companies, and so far all of them are fulfilling their offers to lifetime users, except Pixlr. I really hope Pixlr go back and honor the offer on their own terms.
