Professional, but incomplete
My 8TB drive failed to be recognized by the operating system and I downloaded easeUS to hopefully recover files. I was having issues with the software so I contacted tech support and Alex responded. He looked at the system and decided he could restore all my files. Alex stayed with me all during the process via TeamViewer and assured me he would make sure all files were completely recovered. I felt he is very professional and definitely knew what he was doing. The only downside was the unexpected cost, and I realize that probably was beyond is control. I would recommend him and his company to anyone that needs help with their precious and important data. I have not had a chance to make sure everything was copied, but Alex assured me they have. Follow up. After spending several hours, I found at least 60 files that were corrupted. I ended up getting the original software to work and am drugingly slowly copying the corrupt files. The files on the original drive were not corrupt. Alex assured me they were copied ok. When I sent an e mail to his company, I got an e mail from another tech that suggested I just try other programs to read the files. Which did not work either!! Alex also told me even if I could get the original software to work, the files would be garbled. I actually could sift through them ok. Sooooo.... Did I waste $300 plus dollars when in reality I could have done it myself after all? Alex was good, but i am really wondering if he was really needed after all? After a few days, I ended up copying over 380 files that alex assured me were all ok. I now have all my files done. Think twice before you pay someone over 300 to save fires from a drive when you end up having to do a lot on your own. Bill
