Hi, Background: I have booked a return ticket to Hyderabad, India from Chicago to travel in the month of may for 938$ (air India) and paid for it in April 2020. My friend booked for the same dates on a different website (cheapoair) All flights got cancelled due to the pandemic and i should get a credit of 938$. Present: I wanted to travel in November and called exploretrip for booking. Cost displayed on website was 768$ for my dates. Call 1(Name: Ana): asked for reservation and was told i had to pay an excess 360$ and i was shocked to know that. she told me her shift is going to be complete in 10 mins. Call 2( Name: Denzel) : called after 10 mins to speak to another representative and he said i had to pay 148.17 and sent a PNR to my email. I said I'll make the payment tomorrow and wanted to call and talk to another representative. Call 3(Name: Arya): She quoted 320$ at first and upon telling about my previous calls with Denzel, she finally reduced it to 220$. Everyone was trying to charge extra using a fee called Vande Bharath fee.(I've checked with air India and got to know that for November, it doesn't apply to me) Now, finally, I got frustrated and the final price for my journey got to 241$ and I gave my card details and they charged it. In fact, I should get a 100$ refund from them but they were trying to charge extra to get their commissions naming a tax called vande bharath Tax and I got charged 241$. My friend is traveling with me this November and he got it exchanged for free from a different site. Never ever use a Bogus looting Website like Exploretrip for booking even if it shows cheaper rates on this site. P.s. - Dear Explore trip, I don't want your apologies. Just Refund me my 241$. it disgusts me having a convo with such unethical people.
