A masterclass in not sending login details but taking payment none the less
I’d love to tell you how EWA Learn Languages actually works, but unfortunately, I’ll never know. I paid for three months — £29, taken without issue. But the login email? Never arrived. Maybe EWA got confused because my Google email (used for the purchase) doesn’t match my PayPal email. Understandable — that’s a real brainteaser. What’s also understandable, I suppose, is ignoring my email asking for a refund and cancellation. I assume their customer support is an AI agent trained exclusively on perfectly simple, boring problems. Slightly out of the ordinary? Error. Does not compute. The silver lining: I managed to cancel by guessing that my PayPal email might work as a username. Genius level, I know. Now I’m just crossing my fingers that another £29 doesn’t vanish from my account in May 2026. So in summary: paid, never logged in, never tried the product, and £29 gone. But hey — at least I didn’t have to learn any languages to figure out how disappointing this was. Highly efficient… at wasting time and money.
