Really Disappointed!
I had been watching reviews for Her Given Hair wigs for a few month, and really loved the color, length and look of "Embrace My Coily Life". I finally decided to bite the bullet and order the wig for $550. When I received it, the first thing I did was video tape the unboxing of the unit from the DHL packaging. One of the first things I noticed was that the color of the wig was not like the one on their website. The second challenge was that it was not 18 inches as indicated on their site. The next day I took photo's and reached out to the company to discuss the problems. The response that I received was that the wig length of 18 inches referred to the hair straightened (really). I asked if that was indicated anywhere on their site or packaging (silent). For the color they said that they have different stylist who color the hair so it may vary. I told them that I understand however, if as a customer I'm ordering a product based on what is shown on their website, my expectation was that there would only be minor differences. The company agreed for me to return it. After a day or so I decided to keep the wig and give it a try because I know how to work with wigs, so I could make adjustments. Well, three weeks later after wearing the wig, it has shed sooooo much and tangles. I cannot express how disappointed I am after paying $550 for a wig that is DEFINITELY NOT worth it. It seems that many folks have expressed that the quality of the wigs is not what is being represented by this company, I wish I had saw it before I made this purchase.
