Phone purchase- nightmare experience
Hello All, i have purchased a phone and i've asked on 2 different occasions if there will be any other fees or taxes to be paid upon delivery and i was told no Phone was sent with DHL ( service paid by me ) and the invoice attached from the seller had a smaller amount declared and a different contact phone # of the person who was supposed to receive it. order was made on 9/22 with the promised delivery in 12-20 days-- did not happened- phone not delivered. The package shows that arrived in Romania- customs- since Oct 5 yet nobody contacted ( wrong contact phone was attached by the seller) and now after we've contacted DHL i was told there are some fees up to 40$ -- since the phone was kept more than 4 days in custody--plus other customs taxes to be paid. DHL is asking as well to sent the copy from paypal invoice which clearly is showing more than what the seller declared. In this conditions i've asked DHL to return the phone and i asked the seller for a full refund. In 5-6 occasions/emails they said to accept the phone and pay the fees/taxes because they will refund that amount but who in the right mind will do that after all this experience. Now on the last email they said the refund will be made once the phone reaches back to them even though the tracking number from DHL shows clearly it will be return to the seller. What was supposed to be a gift and a surprise became an horrible experience with this seller which i guess is aware of what going on but just ignore to inform the customer and just grab the sale. i definitely not recommend to shop from this site.
