Misleading trial & software failed to deliver
I’m extremely disappointed with Wondershare Dr.Fone (Web/Desktop). First, the advertising is confusing and feels misleading. It says “free,” then after downloading and signing in, you’re pushed into a “3-day free trial,” which immediately leads to a paid monthly subscription request. This creates false expectations. Second, the software simply did not work for my purpose. I purchased the subscription specifically to remove the FRP lock from a Samsung A05s. I carefully followed all the steps provided on the Dr.Fone website and spent around 4 hours trying. Each time, the process got stuck at 97% and never completed. Third, customer support was frustrating. When I tried to get help, I was routed to AI chat that kept repeating generic responses instead of providing real troubleshooting. Calling support resulted in the same experience — automated responses with no meaningful assistance. Finally, the refund process added to the frustration. I was asked to provide screenshots or logs. If the software tracks usage/licensing on their system, they should already be able to verify that the tool failed. Expecting customers to record their screen (which requires additional software) is unreasonable. Overall, this felt like a waste of time and money. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this tool.
