A sad decline
I have been shopping at Sainsburys, Green Park, Bath for over 30 years and have watched the steady decline. It used to be a great store but ever since they got rid of the checkouts the service has gone down hill. The shelves are understocked, the quality of fruit and veg is poor and more often than not, the food purchased is only a day away from the sale by date. The toilets are an absolute disgrace and the staff are rude. Whats worse is they seem to hike up the prices on a monthly basis. One wonders with the savings they've made from reducing checkout staff, why there is a constant rise in the cost of the products on offer. Where did that money go?
