Do not use Explore Trip
Do not use Explore Trip. We have been dealing with them for over 5 months to get a refund. They keep giving us different stories and telling us the refund is in process. The next time we call, they state the airline didn't refund the ticket yet, when in fact Explore Trip is the one that should be refunding our money. Always get an indian call center and can be hard to understand. They keep telling us to call back in 5-7 days. The case is currently being forwarded to the state attorney general for assistance. After reading the reviews and subsequent responses from Explore Trip, everything sounds so familiar. They're feeding everyone the same lines, trying to delay and defraud customers. Update: After filing a BBB report and with the state attorney general, we received a refund within 2 weeks. Still use EXTREME caution. This agency is doing something unusual, as the original charge and refund came directly from the airline, not ExploreTrip. Most agencies buy the tickets on your behalf, where this one seems to buy it directly. Therefore there could be additional troubles with refunds if it gets to a legal situation. I cannot express enough to file a report with BBB and the state attorney general.
