I wanted to love this setup
I wanted to love this setup, especially since I bought it as a kit that came bundled with several useful things like the carbon filter and the inline fan, and I've also found that the overall framework is strong. The two-in-one design is a great option that I can genuinely appreciate. However, out-of-the-box quality control has made it an incredible frustration to set up after waiting for my seeds to get here and then finally getting everything going. Right out of the gate, the quality issues started piling up, beginning with the tent itself arriving with a noticeable rip. From there, the AeroLight system's fan is blowing upwards instead of downwards where it needs to be. The equipment failures didn't stop there, either; I ordered the DWC pump separately, and it doesn't run correctly due to one of the pump valves not pushing air through, leaving me to pick between either the air stone or the top drip, plus I hear a rattling sound around the inside making me believe a part is broken. Because of everything else inconveniently having errors with quality control, I have been skeptical to open the bar lights. It’s a real shame because the WiFi-enabled smart hub controller has great potential. Right now, though, these severe out-of-the-box issues make it impossible to give a passing grade. Since I left a previous review and received another email asking for an honest review including criticism, I am putting all of this out there as I reach out to customer service, hoping they can make things right so I can update this to a better rating and more stars.
