CashInStyle

Legitimate website. However, I have mixed feelings.

First, let's start with the fact that CashInStyle is a legitimate website. They not only pay the best pay rates in the industry, but also have a huge variety of walls to choose from. However, after being here for years, I have mixed feelings. CashInStyle openly supports illegal and underage gambling. The site is 13+, and they push gambling offers on their main page. I have tolerated that to a degree, but they recently not only started adding scam gambling offers to the main page, but also added them to their own offerwall. They are openly affiliating themselves with those casinos, refusing to remove them after being pointed out and then play the victim after. 2 years from release, CashInStyle still suffers from an abysmal number of false bans. It's not as bad as it was during its first months, when every other user had their account disabled, but a lot of users, especially newbies, get discouraged massively after they get banned — trust is lost already; they know that they can get banned for nothing. CashInStyle still continues to block a lot of 3rd world (tier) traffic. Despite having extremely overtuned anti-fraud measures such as manual payments, random bans, and even 40-day holds. This all wouldn't have been so bad, but we as users suffer from this at the expense of other users? Features such as actually revealing that the offer you completed is high-risk and will be held for 40 days took months to be introduced. Let's go to the pay rates part. It's hard to guess what they are trying to do here, but paying 90% + 10% referral + bonuses doesn't check out. My best assumption is that CashInStyle is operating on a loss leader strategy. The owners sold a massive survey wall and must have quite the cash reserves. This isn't necessarily a bad thing for an average user; we can cash in. On one hand, since their plan would be to starve out everyone else, this makes it a high future risk for the already hurt industry. 1 site being the leader is definitely not a good thing. On the other hand, they will not beat giants such as Freecash going this way. You can say what you want, but no one will believe they are a charity based on the above points. The ranks system is crafted to be extremely unfair. Ranks beyond Gold (ID verification) are virtually impossible to achieve and only reward the absolute top earners. You have realistically 0 chance to provide meaningful help to the site if you're not from one of the top countries (can't provide guidance if you can't use the site), don't invite thousands of people, or do cheap labour for them. Chargeback rate. This feature is rigged towards top earners, those spending on offers like gambling. As an Ambassador, I had no issue personally, but I have an abnormal chargeback rate that would surely pose major issues to a regular user, at the very least, not having instant payouts and possibly a ban. To clarify, the chargeback rate here judges you by the total amount you were charged back for, not taking into account how many offers you've done in the past that never charged back. This is all because I attempted one offer that was charged back, and the rest of the tasks I do are surveys. Not only have I lost money on the investing app offer, but I was also punished for that forever. Anti-survey website. As a Polish user of CashInStyle, I have to say, we don't have the best offers here; however, surveys are what I genuinely enjoy filling out and have the most completed on countless sites. I am very disappointed that for nearly 2 years, we didn't have native integration for surveys on their survey page; now we have Prime and Bitlabs. Finally! My best survey site, Freecash, has removed them from me due to hidden reasons, and this being my next pick, I really wanted them to work on this. For around a year, or more, we only had Cherries surveys featured on the main page; those have always been extremely random and never worked for me personally. I have willingly tested them and worked to try and improve them, and the owner always said to me they are performing better than others, but I was always getting scammed by being forced to spend 30 minutes on a 20-cent survey after clicking one that should take 5 minutes. 2 years in, we at least got two, so I was happy, but when days turn into months, then years... I am not writing this review as an angry customer or a fraudster; I have always followed the rules, worked for them for free, and supported the site since it had fewer than 100 users. My goal is not to call the site a scam, but to share my experience after noticing this is not the site I can fully support anymore. Of course, you're free to disregard all the bad and earn well as an Ambassador, Platinum from the US. I am truly saddened to be forced to leave a neutral review for this site. But have hope and will continue to observe the progress on here. Mo... I am sad.
