Appalling shopping experience
Customer Service needs attention. Firstly I called Friern Barnet store to inquire about availability. Nobody answered the phone even though I rang 3 times. So I went to the store. The item I wanted was on the shop floor but not in the size I needed. I asked which other stores were close by. The store assistant told me it was not possible to call on my behalf as the stores don’t have the capacity to answer the phones. Why offer phone numbers then? Crazy. I tried to call both Wood Green and Brent Cross myself , but got the same lack of response on calling. So I reluctantly headed, in person to the Brent Cross store. A six mile journey. Having got to the Third floor where swimwear was located I could not find what I was looking for. There were no staff present so I stood by the till for about 10 mins. A girl who looked like she was on a break wandered over to the till, tapped a couple of keys and then told me nobody was serving on this floor. So I left with no inclination to ever shop in Sports Direct again. Complete waste of my time.
