Dead in 200 miles
I ordered a 700r4 for my son’s Chevy truck in October 2019. It finally arrived in January of 2020. With work and life it took me til July 2020 to install it. Shifted and drove fine. I’ve driven it once every couple weeks around town just to break it in waiting for him to get his license. With maybe 200 miles on it the servo cover shot off and all the fluid went with it in the 2 blocks it took to find a place to pull out of traffic. I was just driving with easy traffic. No clue why the cover suddenly ejected. I’ve tried twice through the Atransmissions site to contact them with no response and now the phone number listed says its no longer in service. It looks like I’m out $1000 with a dead truck and more money to spend.
