Order Review
As a returning customer who has trusted Disc Makers in the past, I chose to place a small initial order to verify the quality before committing to a larger investment. While I am satisfied with the physical looks and initial function of the thumb drives, the ordering process itself was disappointing. Buying in bulk would have saved money, but I was unwilling to risk a large investment based solely on the basic stick drawings in the online designer. I requested a digital PDF proof to verify the layout, but this option was not available or offered. Compared to my past experiences during the DVD era, the current online designer is difficult to navigate and fails to provide a high-quality proof that shows exactly what I am buying. Designing a logo on a thumb drive should be much simpler than a full DVD cover, yet the system felt less intuitive and offered less guidance than it used to. Ultimately, I opted to buy a low quantity and pay an exorbitant price just to ensure the quality would meet my standards. The customer service staff were pleasant, and the finished product looks good and holds files correctly, though I have yet to fully test them in everyday use. If these initial drives perform well over time, I will likely order again in bulk. However, the ordering interface and lack of professional proofing left a lot to be desired.
