Super reliable! A gem for photo storage, you don't have to worry about sudden deletions, software bugs or any other issues that plague cloud storage elsewhere. The staff get back to you within 24 hours if you have any questions. Very grateful for a trusted and friendly experience! And very easy that the annual plan that I chose simply renews every year without any problems.
Another POS company! Install guys took 4 hours to install two cameras. Lots of drilling through floors, they blew out the electric in crawl space. NO AUDIO on CCTV even though sales person said yes it has it. Works until it doesn't, then tech support knows next to nothing about how to fix it. They have no idea how to reconnect to the app. 'DEVICE IS OFFLINE'. The word they use a LOT is "UNFORTUNATELY"...They keep saying to get the serial # from the sticker. What sticker? I don't even know where the unit is in the house. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Go on Amazon, buy yourself a $50 security camera. The app always works, the unit never goes down, and it has video & AUDIO. THIS COMPANY IS AN ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE & BTW so is ADT who set up the whole thing to begin with.
SUCKS. Impossible to navigate if the system goes off-line. No easy way to solve anything. Like 40 people wrote 40 ways of getting it back on-line and everything is like you need a tech degree to figure out and none of it works. I'm ripping out this sucky camera and replacing with the $65 security camera I got on Amazon which is super easy to use, never goes down, and never has had a problem with the app. In fact, I added another of the same Amazon camera to existing one, and 1-2-3, it works. The recording is clear, the audio is great, the history and replay user friendly. HikConnect is the most UNUSER FRIENDLY STUPID OLD TECH DEVICE! AVOID!
