Xiaomi what have you done?
Now don't get me wrong, i love Xiaomi to bits. But the UK launch of the redmi note 10 pro was a disaster, i waited patiently until the store opened and bang on the dot all 6/128gb versions had impossibly sold out, so settled for a 6/64gb version...5 minutes later 6/128gbs were available again! couldn't change order as the 1st had processed!...Gutted (bad enough they didn't launch the 8gig RAM version in the UK either?), then found out about the long process time and shipping...Out of curiosity had a look on Amazon and guess what! they had the 6/128gb version in, and delivered the same day! Sorry Xiaomi, i cancelled the order on the Mi store and bought the RN 10 pro from Amazon instead...You snooze you lose. Now there are some things that do NEED to get sorted. 1 : You took out the notification light in favour of an always on display, great! the trouble is the AOD is only on for 10 seconds!! after that i have no idea if i have received any message/notifications etc without opening the phone! SORT IT OUT! 2 : No super wallpapers? what is the point of having an AMOLED screen without the super wallpapers? (my GF has them on her Redmi 9!) again SORT IT OUT! 3 : (and my biggest gripe) Why can't i access Google assistant from standby (not lock screen, but when it goes into the 'supposed' AOD standby state) i have always been able to access this feature on all of my previous Xiaomi phones (the last being Redmi note 9 pro) i've tried the personalisation tabs to on, and still nothing? i can no longer just ask the time in bed without having to wake the phone! yet again SORT IT OUT! When you finally get round to fixing these bugs, i'll amend my rating to 5 stars.
