Buydig

One of the worst online experiences I've had

I ordered an OLED TV online but it was cancelled due to credit card problems. I contacted BuyDig support so they could resend the order, but instead of resending it they made a completely different order and removed the discount I was using. As a result, the order is not on my account and I cannot view updates from the website. I called BuyDig support back on Wednesday so I could hopefully get an ETA on the television, and told they would contact me with shipping information (they wouldn't) and update my account (they didn't). I was told that my account would update with details of the transaction, but it has been four days since then so I can only conclude that this information was also not true. In their eventual follow-up email (which I had to call them repeatedly for) I have still not received the tracking number for my package and the order number they sent does not work. The link to view the status of my order on FedEx is also broken. I reiterated my concerns to BuyDig, and four and a half hours later (the email reply said within a few hours there would be a response) they still had not replied, at which point BuyDig closed for the weekend. I was informed that the TV was going to arrive on Monday, but without any calls or emails to update me on the delivery times and BuyDig still refusing to update my account with the purchase information or tracking number, I have no idea when to expect it. I have to guess when the TV is going to show up and hopefully be there so it doesn't get stolen. I originally wasn't 100% sure if I wanted to keep the television after I bought it and this customer service has not helped matters at all. I am afraid of asking them to even consider returning the TV after all of this effort just for it to get to me. The one positive of this whole experience is that the customer associates have been extremely nice over the phone and it genuinely seems like they're trying their best, but either they are woefully underprepared to help me or the people who are managing their requests are incapable of completing their tasks. It's clear that the single action of re-ordering over the phone was enough to completely break the BuyDig ordering system, and I recommend any person who thinks about doing so just cancel their orders.
