Misleading, poor quality, and a complete lack of accountability
Ordering from Beautiful Halo has been the worst online shopping experience I’ve ever had. I ordered a lamp that looked stylish and well-made on the website. It took more than a month to arrive, with no tracking information provided. When it finally did arrive, it was badly scratched, incredibly flimsy, and looked nothing like the photos. The materials were cheap, the design was sloppy, and it felt unstable and unsafe to use. I contacted customer service and received a series of dismissive, copy-and-paste-style responses. They refused to take any responsibility, and instead offered a 5% refund — which amounted to just a few pounds — and told me they would send a “surprising gift” as compensation. Unsurprisingly, the gift never arrived, and neither did a proper solution. They would not arrange a return, replace the item, or issue a full refund. After weeks of going in circles, I had to escalate the dispute through PayPal — something I have never had to do with any other online purchase. It’s clear that Beautiful Halo relies on misleading product images, substandard quality, and deliberately obstructive customer service to avoid issuing refunds or accepting returns. Their so-called “resolution” was insulting and made it clear they don’t value customers at all. I wish I had read the reviews before ordering. Avoid this site at all costs.
