The best beginning of my Beijing journey
After just a couple of months of touching down in China 4 years ago I saw an ad for Culture Yard which looked like this cool Chinese language school in a real foreign place. I took the 'survival Chinese' course with my mate that I moved to Beijing with and it was the best decision I've made in China. 3 years on and I've converted to taking some online classes. At first I wasn't for it, but after a few classes I soon realised it can be just as good if not better. A huge plus is that we also get the recorded lessons so we can watch them back at a later date or if we miss a lesson. The teachers are excellent and understand you especially when you make mistakes they are great at listening and then explaining how to improve. Highly recommend if you'd really like to up your mandarin with quality teachers. Oh yeah and the staff are great down to earth people that are easy and helpful to talk with.
