Beware.its a scam
Beware.. its a scam.. i had a very bad experience with exploretrip. Please dont fall into a trap with this company. I have booked my flight to india in march 2021 to fly around july 2021 and return in august 2021 for Qatar airways through these people. First i was charged 1250$ On my credit card and not issued a ticket. When i had followed up with them and asked for the itenary, they said the prices went up and now i have to pay more to get the confirmed ticket. I felt deceived but couldnot do anything, so i paid the difference and got the ticket issued. Now, due to the current covid crisis in india and travel ban into the united states, i had to change my travel plans. So i contacted them back and asked for a refund/ airline credit/ reschedule of the dates. For refund, each time they will give me a different quote- one time one customer care guy will say you will get 650$ back and next time other guy would say you will get 750$ Airline credit- they say qatar is not offering as the flight is on schedule, which is totally wrong as i have contacted qatar directly and they said they are offering that Reschedule- each time the customer care guy will give us a new quote. Some would say there is a penalty that the airline is charging - which is again not true as qatar airlines confirmed me that they are not charging anything to reschedule, some would say the fare difference is around 550$- 750$ which is like outrageous as qatar website has much lesser prices. When asked about this the exploretrip guys would say that for fresh ticket and yours is confirmed ticket. Im really tired and fed up with the customer care service. They will charge you outrageous amounts to reschedule/ change your bookings and on top of that the scream and shout at you as you don’t have any knowledge. One of the worst experiences i had till date and my issue is not yet resolved..
