Well after having problem with the Growatt inverter,I sat down and started to read the manualand fully understand as much as I can about the inverter. And from what I can see-if you understand what you are doing with the set up of the inverter,it works OK, when mine was set up by a second rate no brain so called electrician he connected the CT sensor incorrectly and nothing worked properly and it got really hot had many issues. So I called in an MCS/RECC electrician who explained that the CT sensor was set badly and could have caused a fire with the equipment overheating,it was one incorrect connection causing all the problems SO WHEN HAVING SPECIALIST EQUIPMENT INSTALLED BY RUBBISH PEOPLE WITHOUT THE PROPER UNDERSTANDING,GROWATT BADLY IS GOING TO GET A BAD NAME, That is why a good knowledge base is most important, not people at the other end on the phone not fully understanding, and becoming agressive+swearing by lack of techical experience. With my system, when the CT sensor was correctly put on the correct LIVE AC LEAD, It changed everything and the system is really working well and Iam now saving money. So one needs to fully understand what why and how So the tech staff could understand more and really help the users + installers THEN THE WHOLE SITUATION IMPROVES AND THAT IS A WIN WIN POSITION RogerThomas
