Pay-as-you-go is the way to go!
Geonode was exactly what I needed, and their prices are very competitive! I use the residential proxies for scraping, and they work great, plus the support is excellent. I was having some issues with my account, so I reached out to them, and they responded quickly and were able to resolve the issue.
