I booked with Agoda for my trip to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and when I got to the hotel the host Soho Hotel and Residence denied by check in because my full name matching passport was not on the booking and asked me to cancel with Agoda and give them cash. I do not use my middle names on booking sites and called Agoda who was at the mercy of the host. The host walked away from me in the lobby and Agoda replied after 48 hours they could not help me. I did a chargeback with my credit card company and Agoda emailed me saying they will not accept the chargeback. Well too late already got my refund. DO NOT BOOK WITH AGODA, NEVER AGAIN. Poor customer service, if you need a refund you’re hooped. Use other booking sites. I cancelled all my remaining bookings and used another site.
