Pet Paradise Ballantyne
I had my almost 3 year old yorkie boarded for 5 days, I watched the cameras all the time and was lucky to see him a few times even though he looked scared and stayed up against the wall. I also paid for forever connected so I could get pictures of him to see how he was doing, the first pics I got he looked very happy and that put me at ease, the next pics we got his eyes were red and swollen and he looked exhausted. When we picked him up he smelled so strong of urine and had feces matted to his bottom, and on top of all that he now has kennel cough (despite being vaccinated) which I now see from many other reviews is a very common occurrence at pet paradise. I called and spoke to one of the front desk girls and she was completely unapologetic and just said “yeah we have had a few kennel cough cases recently” maybe that’s something you should disclose before letting peoples babies stay there and put them at risk! I trusted these people and let them know I had an awful experience in the past with boarding my first dog, who died while being boarded at a different facility, they put me at ease and I felt better leaving him there but never again will I and now my ptsd from boarding pets is even worse...
