Never, I mean never, purchase this product.
If I could give 0 starts I would. As so many have mentioned connectivity with the app and the software is a joke. I literally haven't even made adjustments in the app due to concern of the app crashing a losing connection. I should have know better when I had to return my first set the same day and exchange it out for a new one. I prepared to do a firmware update and the update bricked my lights. From there it only got worse. I've endured my lights randomly turning on in the middle of the night at 100% brightness and then with no command or manual intervention the light would go off. Moving on to sporadic light glitches and/or missed color patterns in the scheme or scenes. Let's over to the latest game of red light green light with connectivity. Without manual intervention my controller started randomly losing connectivity until it never found it again. The controller lights have been in a twinkle search sequence for the last 48 hours. I have done a soft reset, hard reset, changed the wifi, I moved the app from android to IOS. Nothing.. complete and utter failure. I feel like I was scammed out of the 250.00 dollars I paid for this horrid tech. Customer Service is laughable, returned Service requests takes 3-5months for a response. If they think they are getting another 30.00 bucks to replace the controller... they won't see another red cent
