Absolutely ridiculous customer service
Absolutely ridiculous customer service. I ordered from kentfaith.de, thinking I was ordering from a GERMAN company. My binoculars came from CHINA. Of course, they were broken upon arrival, although the package was in perfect shape. Broken when sent? Possible. I contacted Kentfaith.de through Paypal and their website, no response. I opened a case with Paypal. TWO MONTHS later, Paypal tells me that Kentfaith agreed to returning my money if I sent the binoculars back to China. Coincidence they did so one day after I added to my case, that I needed a shipping address in Germany in case I needed to return the item because shipping costs to China exceeded the price of the binoculars. Kentfaith, you are a FRAUD. Update: After posting this initially one star review, Kentfaith reached out to me. They said that my e-mails had ended up in their spam folder, which is why they hadn't responded. Well, maybe. But they could still have handled my Paypal case better after I had submitted detailed infos with pictures and sketches twice upon request. Anyways, they first asked me to send the binoculars to a German address for inspection and said they would reimburse the shipping fees upon receipt of the package. A few days later another representative asked for more pictures and proof and said that there was no need to return the binoculars if they could confirm that the binoculars were broken. I resubmitted my pictures and sketches and added a documented video. I had my money back the next day. So all turned out well in the end, but the process was long, time consuming and frustrating for just a little over 33 Euros. I would recommend to not make such a fuss over small items like that, even if there's a potential, that buyers might take advantage of you. At least, you will not offend potentially returning customers. Where I usually buy, I don't even have to submit proof if there's an issue and get a refund within minutes. As a result I keep coming back and I've spent thousands and thousands of dollars there over the years. There's a good reason that company is among the most successful on the planet.
