Great concept that falls far short of its goal!
The concept behind this website is genius. Safe, protected re-homing of loved pets. It's a win-win for both the guardian and the adopter. They say they have an algorithm they use to weed out scammers. It doesn't work. The right algorithm should spot the scammers almost immediately - certainly not 5-6 days later when a letter is written to the GetYourPet to tell them someone is a scammer. Almost all the pups I've looked into - over a 100 since the loss of one or our pups in May 2022 - were being sold by scammers. All wanted money for things that are free, all wanted contact outside of the GetYourPet website, all gave answers that made no sense, most gave conflicting answers from message to message. Once their accounts were suspended, the pup would be placed on the site again with a different guardian - same pictures, different name, same puppy accessories, conflicting reasons for why they are looking to re-home. This website is filled with scammers - be careful, follow the rules of the website, use only the website platform to communicate. I am sure there have been successful adoptions, but scammers abound.
