No QC at FairPrice 😡
This is not the first time it happened. I’ve experienced at least 5 times buying bad quality foodstuffs from West Coast Drive FairPrice. All the time the expiry date is Ok but when I consume the food, it’s not OK. Take for example Oreo biscuits which have an expiry date in 2023, but when open up it’s soft and not fresh. All of these incidents where I’ve not kept the receipts, I’ll just have to throw away the food. I’ve gotten smart now and kept receipts when I shop there. Just 2 days ago, I bought a pack of Kelly’s Premium Apple Baked Ham which has an expiry date of 07/01/2022. When opened up the pack this morning, I’ve difficulty in taking out the slices as they crumpled into tiny pieces like minced meat. This is not right, it’s obviously spoilt. I’ve consumed this brand of Ham quite often and I know it’s not right. With the receipt I have, I’ll be heading down to the store to get a refund. My experience with FairPrice is that not all the stores are the same in terms of quality. I know cos I also buy from the two stores at Clementi central. I’ve lived in China for 19 years, my experience with FairPrice reminds me of my bad experience with Carrefour - the quality and service. Wake up FairPrice! There’s Sheng Siong around.
