“30-day Money Back Guarantee” scam
*post company response, -2 stars and review updated Their “30-day Money Back Guarantee” is false advertising. If the program doesn’t work they will give you a refund, that’s it. I did a test run on their limited trial before buying and the product seemed to work. After purchasing the full product it turns out it’s a terrible program when it comes to converting shows/series. After struggling to get it to generate an mp4 with the shows in order I gave up and emailed for a refund and the response is: “We'll hold the 30-day money back guarantee if our products cannot normally work with error or bug and we cannot solve it within an acceptable period of time or provide a temporary solution.“ After submitting a 2 star trustpilot review I got this from videoproc: “We have submitted your refund request to our manager. Would you please kindly remove the below review from [trustpilot link to my review]?” after updating my review and giving them 3 stars I got this email: “ Dear customer, Please kindly edit it to a 4 or 5 star review or just remove it. Thanks in advance.” I told them in harsher words that I would not give them more them 3 stars. A couple weeks after that email I still have not received the refund… I would rather lose 35$ and keep this negative review to hopefully help other people out there to avoid this unethical company. If you don’t believe me for some reason please read other negative reviews/posts. In addition to my issues you’ll discover videoproc’s interpretation of a product licenses, in short you get one install on one computer period. So careful uninstalling and don’t bother installing on a different computer.
