Great products, deplorable customer service & delivery
Ordering online from Ulanzi pulls you in two directions. Their products are excellent, and I have yet to order something that did not live up to my expectations. I have lights, hardware, and various bits of kit I've needed. The problem is their inventory, and where said inventory is located, which they don't tell you is typically half-way around the world. There's very little follow up and tracking information is very hard to come by, if you get any at all. As I write this, I'm waiting for an order I placed 12 days ago and has yet to arrive. If you find something you need, and you place an order, chances are it's not in a warehouse in the United States, but in China, and it seems to take days before your item is shipped, with an incredible wait time. This information isn't divulged at the time of your order, and you may be expecting your delivery to be made in a few days. Most likely, you'll be waiting a LOT LONGER than that. Contacting customer service is challenging, it's only by email, and the reps are clearly not native english speaking folks, so be prepared. I've been provided with a tracking number, but my order hasn't moved in 9 days, and nobody is responding to my various e-mails. This is something I've experienced on my last three orders, then, one day, out of the blue, your package is on your doorstep after 2-3 weeks of nothing. So, if you should decide to place an order, be aware, it's most likely coming from overseas and you're going to be left hanging, hoping, and crossing your fingers for weeks. Choose wisely.....
