Great platform (improvements for German tax needed)
I started using Hodlnaut a few month ago, mainly to gain interest with my crypto holdings. The interface is very intuitive and simple. The killer feature compared to other services is the possibility, to select the digital currency you want to receive your interest payments in. For example if you deposit BTC (open term), you can get your interest paid out in a stable coin like DAI or even ETH. Although fiat and stable currencies are not the best, this is great if you want to keep a portion of that money in order to fulfill your tax obligations arising from the interest received. On the other hand, fixed term deposits interest is payed out in-kind. So you get your interest in BTC for any BTC you lend for a fixed term. If that could be adjustable just like non-fixed term deposits, this would be a real improvment. In Germany any received interest that is compounded, will go into a 10 year holding period. Which means you pay tax for on any gains for 10 years (compared to 1 year without compounding). So it would be a great feature, to be able to either receive in-kind interest payouts in a separate hodlnaut wallet, that will not be compounded and can be withdrawn seperately or to be able to receive fixed term interest in another currency.
